Post Re: Cardmaking/Scrapbooking
I've always been interested in scrap-booking and such, but I usually don't know where to start. I have a hard time getting what I see in my head to come out with whatever media I'm using.

My mom and I really got into beading/jewelery making a while back. We made bracelets and necklaces for some of our friends and family members. We also made beaded lanyards for wearing id badges. We made one for my aunt who works for a local school district in the school's colors.

Then I got really busy with work and school and didn't have the time. Now we have Boo and Lovey who would gladly help us organize all of our beads. :sarc We've talked about getting rid of the stuff, but aren't sure how to go about. If we sell the stuff we don't know what to ask for it.

Post Re: Cardmaking/Scrapbooking
I like scrap booking and card making too. I don't do it often though and don't have any fancy materials. I have made some fun posters and cards just with pics from magazines. I made my sister in law a scapbook with pics I had of her and her family. I went to the craft store and spent a fortune on stickers and things. I have loads left but no use for em really. But, i loved making her book, it was like this big art project. I had fun putting pics up and rearranging them, trying different stickers and things, then deciding and pasting them down, writing some phrases with metalic pens. I think she was really touched but don't know how much she really enjoyed it. I know she appreciated my efforts though. I had fun making it but got tired after a few days of it too!!

I hope you enjoy your stuff. Just play around, experiment. Let yourself just try stuff, i say. I have no other helpful hints though, sorry about that, I am a novice for sure.

Hope to see some of your work on here.

Oh, those are so pretty!

My favorite is the purple one with the flowers. Really nice cards!

:thumbsup

Thanks so much for the offer. You know, I have stuff that I don't even use myself. I just did the one big book and don't think I've done anything since. I think I have more stuff than I need too!

I get that from needle work and crocheting. Though my hands no longer let me do it as often.
